Rowan Coffee West Asheville Build Out
Rowan coffee launched downtown in 2021 but Bow had been dreaming of a space in West Asheville well before the paint had dried in their beautiful space at 66 Broadway. When his ideal space became available Bow pounced on it and Rowan Coffee West Asheville was no longer a dream but a reality. Bow reached out to capture the stages of the build of their historic Haywood road building.
I was ecstatic to take this project on. As a regular at Rowan and a friend to Bow and Jessi Lee it was an honor to be asked to come along on the journey of this build. Seeing the images of the finished shop it is hard to imagine how it started out.
Jessi Lee had a vision for this space and as is typical for her and Bow there would be no detail that was too small to consider.
By the third session things really started to take shape and the light had decided to come out and show us all how this space was going to feel once it was finished.
Session 4 would be the final session in the space before it was completed. By this point you could almost squint and see the finished product. Curious folks from around the neighborhood would poke their heads in and ask "How much longer until you open?"
With only a few days and some finishing touches Bow invited me back one more time to get some final images of the shop before the grand opening.
